2043 a.t.b. After years of fighting, the military of the Holy Britannian Empire succeeded in suppressing an effort by Japanese Resistance fighters to take back the island of Japan, known as the second Black Rebellion. This time though, the Black Knights were not led by their legendary leader Zero, who had long since vanished from public eye. Without a well founded group of leaders, the Black Knights were easily outmatched in most of their skirmishes with the Britannians. After nearly twenty years of fighting, they were finally defeated. Most of them were executed and others fled to neighboring countries. All in all, it was a resounding victory for the Britannian forces that found themselves outwitted by the mastermind Zero in the first Black Rebellion long ago.
With Japan still under Britannian control, harsher restrictions were put on the island nation and its people. Requirements to become and Honorary Britannian were stricter than ever and most of the Elevens were forced to live in the war zones that were once used in an attempt at their freedom. With the harsh realities of life dawning on a few brave Japanese, the fire rebellion is soon to spark again. All that’s needed is the right ignition.
The Euro Universe, who’s fate had been returned into its hands by the Britannians during the first Black Rebellion, was undergoing turmoil. The government was failing it and its military was nothing compared to the might of the Britannian Empire, who seemed to be threatening its territory. A revolt threatened the now puppet government and revolution seemed to be in store.
The Chinese Federation seemed the most stable out of all the other nations. It maintained its government and people well and enjoyed a time of bountiful prosperity. Yet, the nation seemed to be hiding something…sinister.
August 24, 2045 a.t.b. In a shocking turn of events, the 110th Emperor to the Britannian throne was assassinated during a royal banquet. A lone bullet came through the window and cut his life short. This kind of thing shouldn’t have happened. The guard around the Imperial Capital of Pendragon was heavily guarded. Any potential assassins should have been spotted and taken care of with no problems. Yet, the Emperor was dead. Obviously, this had dramatic effects throughout the Empire as a new Emperor had to be found before someone could take advantage of the situation. Perhaps this was the ignition the Rebellion needed? But without a leader, a repeat of before would just happen. Or would someone step up after all and lead Area 11 to salvation?
