Long ago, when the Universe was still young, it was run by darkness and chaos.
The Dark Emperor, a being of terrible might and power, used the power of the mystical Dark Core to lay waste to the Universe for 10,000 years.
The Lords on High awakened the 7 Ancient Guardians, who together were finally able to trap The Dark Emperor in his own, separate Universe, and for a time the world knew peace.
Until now.
An unknown entity has broken the seal on The Dark Emperor’s Universe.
Freed from his prison, he has declared war on the Guardian Angels of today, and is gathering forces of evil from every stretch of the galaxy.
In a desperate move, the Guardians have used the mythical Stone of the Ancients to summon all Heroes in the Universe to aid in the Fight of the Century that threatens all.
