Detailed Personality Description:
Tokala is a very quiet, respectful, gentle person - even if he's actually a fox demon. When he speaks, his voice is very soft and kind, as if he's always speaking to a small child. Sometimes his neighbors say that he is so quiet, it's almost as if he isn't there. (They are reminded that he still resides there when he steps outside.) When fighting (which he doesn't do unless his life is in danger), his voice can barely be heard casting his spells, which is what makes him good at sneak attacks. He will speak to anyone at all, human or demon, provided they treat him with kindness and respect.
It takes a lot to anger him, but the one thing someone can do that will make him mad almost immediately is pull one of his tails. For that, he will curse you fifty years for each of his tails (he has eight = 350 years). Should the person die before the curse is complete, it will move on to the next generation (and so on until the curse ends).

Overall Description:
His ears and tails are nearly completely white (right now they have hints of a light brown color), signifying his age. Once he grows his ninth tail, his fur will be completely white and he will have the ability to see and hear anything happening anywhere in the world.
History
Detailed Personal History:
Tokala was born to fox demon parents (his father with white fur and his mother with light tan fur) a very long time ago. His mother is the one he models himself after now - a kind, caring, quiet woman that would hurt noone; but his father was the opposite - he was one of the many thieves and tricksters in the legends the humans told time and time again. A few weeks just before he was born, his father was killed by a hunter who was convinced that he was the fox that had been terrorizing his livestock and crops (he hadn't been, but a fox is a fox apparently).
Left to raise him alone, his mother did what she could to raise him well and right. The adorable pup grew into an attractive young man and ended up as the beautiful adult everyone sees now. Sometime in his 900th year, his mother died of old age. His family home was slowly transformed into the inn he runs today (since he alone doesn't need all of the extra space).
As far as anyone knows, he has never married and has no children, but it doesn't mean he isn't looking. He isn't picky about whom he falls in love with or marries (he figures he can love a human just as well as he can love a demoness). He isn't a Lord, but he keeps himself up as if he were one (the best of everything and in appearance). He's not terribly hard to please, and most say that even though he is a full fox demon, his heart makes him seem human.
