Tsubaki is very easily distracted. She’s spazzy, fun to hang out with, and a good ally. She holds grudges forever, though, and her spiritual eternal youth makes sure she never forgets. She loves to prank the people that walk through the area she’s in. Being part of nature, she doesn’t have to walk, and can merely float. However, when she’s injured, her body is made purely of essence, so her soul is ripped instead of her body. It takes much longer to heal than any other wounds, which is why she’s mainly defensive.
She’s very easily offended, as even stepping on a plant can ignite her anger. She’s viewed as insane by many, since she’s one of the few forest spirits left alive. She can hear the voices of nature, and she talks back, and others only hear her talking to herself. She’s been thought to be a ghost by some superstitious people, but she’s not.

History
Detailed Personal History: Tsubaki wasn’t really born, more like created. She was the guardian of a forest in the south for nearly 1000 years, but the forest was burned down, leaving her free to wander. She did, for almost 500 years, but then she got sick of constantly changing scenery. She eventually decided that she’d be a temporary guardian to many places, hence her name being spread around the island.
She travels to areas that she’s heard are in bad shape or need care, and she aides in the rebuilding of nature there. She’s never been mated, though throughout the centuries, she’s fallen in love three times. Once, to a young man in a southern village. He got married in the forest, forcing her to watch, though she doesn’t blame him because he didn’t know she exsisted.
The other two times were in the same village, which she now stays away from. So many demons have roosted around that area that she can’t breathe through the miasma, and all of the humans have left. She hardly shows herself to humans, but she talks to demons often.
