Akane is horridly, awfully shy. She hardly ever speaks, and when she does, it’s normally only to her siblings or herself and everyone has to strain to hear her. She’s startled easily, causing her to faint often. Even for a human, she’s weak, though smart. She’s got hardly any conviction, and tends to be more of a follower than a leader. She cracks easily under pressure, but is an excellent strategist, and good with the reverse-reverse psychology thing.
She has no temper whatsoever, leaning on letting it simmer and thinking about it later. She's proabably one of the most sane of her siblings, and often questions why that is. Personally, she thinks it's the hair. She's got a cute laugh. She's very self-consious, leading to her hiding behind her sister most of the time. She thinks about talking to people all of the time, but when her mouth opens, the shyness kicks her in the chin and the words won't come out. She hates that she's so shy, but she's accepted it.

History
Detailed Personal History: Akane is the only person born in her family that doesn’t have the telltale white hair and oddly colored eyes of the Guardian family. The village she was born in was destroyed by demons during the shattered period of the Shikon Jewel, since her family had managed to gather a couple of them. Some of the survivors left to settle in other villages, including some of her older siblings, but she continued to follow her oldest sister Tomoko, who decided that since they weren’t the guardian family of a certain village anymore, they could travel and see the world, or at least some of it, while using their talents to help others who needed it.
The legend of her family is filled with holes and half truths, but some of it is honest. Many years before her great-great grandmother was born, a beautiful celestial maiden bore a human man a child. The girl grew up with her father, an object of beauty. Eventually, she got married. However, her husband was unfaithful, so she used her heavenly powers to curse him and all of his descendants with the burden of guarding the village they lived in with powers that were unearthly. This was known and disregarded, until the man’s new wife gave birth to their first child. The child had snow-white hair and golden eyes, and as he grew, he developed unusual powers. The half celestial maiden went to heaven and never looked down again.
The legacy continued, passing through generations. Akane is the first guardian born in hundreds of years that didn’t have the white hair. This caused her father to be suspicious that her mother had had an affair with another man, until she showed the signs of being the ‘Flower Child’, one of the ten guardian spirits. Her ability to grow flowers out of nothing made her very popular among the village people, men wanting roses for their women, women wanting flowers for themselves, girls wanting flowers in their hair. She was a happy, quiet child until the village was destroyed. Soon after the survivors had buried the the dead, she covered the graves with beautiful flowers, which never wilt or die, even in winter.
She tends to stay away from the battles her siblings get in sometimes, being too inclined to pass out or be hurt.
