He is a bold but modest youth. Nothing makes the boy's hairs stand on ends, but he is also not the type to parade his strength around. He can be a bit headstrong at times, but he is usually easy to be around. Most of his friends find him as a shoulder to lean on, known to be a very reliable guy to turn to. He has a strong heart and is known to fight for his friends, his beliefs and his dreams. He will listen to any troubles his friends have, and he never judges others. Asaka is known to be quite independent, especially when things fall into the category of being life-threateningly dangerous. This is because he hates putting others in danger, not liking it when people suffer because of him.
He is also quite courageous. Some say a person can be so courageous that they're either brave, or just stupid. However, Asaka knows when he can't handle something and when to stop before it's too late. That, however, doesn't mean he won't try. If he fails at something, he feels he should at least be able to say he tried his best. He can also be quite confident at times, but not to a boastful scale. He's just high in self-esteem, not highly conceited.

Asaka was born as the results of a night shared between a human female and a male demon. Man was his mother easy. Unlike a human incubation, which would last nine months, Asaka was born after a mere week. He came out as a healthy baby, by human standards. In fact, his whole body was human in appearance. It's unknown if his insides are demonic but he was discarded like a human baby would be. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't thrown in a dumpster or anything.
The boy was left in a basket on the front steps of the Reith home, the woman knowing they would accept him as they had a habbit of taking in foster children. He would be the seventh child of nine to be taken in by the family. Despite his rather fast birth, he's growth wasn't phenomenal. The boy grew at a rate any normal human would have. He didn't even show any traits of his demon heritage, growing up as a loving child, who cared for all of his siblings.
One thing to be noted about his childhood would be his habbit of stealing things. He was like a ferret, nabbing items and stashing them under his bed. His parents decided not to get angry about it, since most of the things he snatched weren't too valuable or needed. Eventually he put his thievery skills to great use, picking off food and money from the rich to provide for his family. This is the first time he experienced his demonic abilities, which is probably the only reason he wasn't caught.
Out of all his siblings, Asaka liked Ignus the most. When Ignus wanted to runaway, he was hesitant at first. He was worried that they wouldn't be able to survive without him. After gathering together the store of all his pickings and leaving them on his bed, he decided to go with Ignus. During their travels, Ignus and Asaka were faced against a giant spider demon. The demon easily defeated Ignus, killing him and prepared to devour him. However, Asaka unveiled his demonic powers and roasted the bugger alive.
