The woods were dark and shadowing over the dirt path, the bark was a dark brown, small green leaves sprouting out of the branches, that hung out of the trees like arms trying to catch the wind, that blew ever so lightly, The sun was out, but barely, covered in ominous black clouds, that threatened to cry. The grass on each side of the dirt path crickets leaping out at a certain person, her foot steps where soft and held no sound. Her feet did not have any shoes and long nails were pointed out from the toes the feet belonged to a certain wolf demoness, she had bandages on her legs to her chest, to cover up her bodice. Over the bandages was a huge black kimono that was ripped, a dangerous looking red dragon crawling up the kimono. Her skin was the color of sand on the beach, a pitch black tail coming out of her lower back, which was not an accessory. Her hair was pitch black like the tail that was the same color as her tail, the hair looked like a lions mane, soft at touch, but by looks it looks rough and un-kept. She stood in the path, her golden eyes narrowed.
She had not have been here, in her whole life. She stared down the path and slowly walked down it. She yawned, her long canines showing her tongue sticking out. Her wolf ears twitched, pitch black like her hair.

She stopped walking, her foot firmly planted on the ground, her ears twitched, and her golden eyes shined brightly. She turned her head. Someone was coming. That’s what you get when you walk up wind. Her arms loosely hung next to her hips. The only thing that could be heard in the air was birds tweeting softly. Her tail twitched. Oh hopefully I don’t have fleas again..she thought acidly to herself. Oh how she hated bugs.
Her mood was as it always as on this joyous day. Plain. She yawned again her tongue curling out of her mouth as she waited; her golden eyes glinted in boredom. Could this person be a threat to her? She waited a while and she could smell who was coming after her, a male wolf. Perhaps she stepped in his territory. She couldn’t help to chuckle to herself. Of course she did. Not on purpose. She chuckled again. Of course she did. She only stepped in to see if her assistance was needed..or if the person was rich.

Kage growled his question as a statement-- blunt and commanding. He continued to stalk forward a few more paces, glaring and growling at the female. "You do realize you've stumbled into Yourozoku territory, don't you, hanyou?"[/ul][/blockquote]

She waited there, to find that he was quiet demanding…he didn’t know who she was. But she did not take orders. Especially from some one she could careless for. She crossed her arms. “I am merely just a wanderer, and the fact this is your territory does not matter to me. I do not plan to stay.” She finally spoke. She calmly cracked her shoulders in annoyance.
Now Payne hadn’t been in wolves’ territory before, besides her own families. But damn they were annoying. She restrained herself from rolling her eyes at him. How pathetic of him to think a half demon like her would even care too take over his territory? That was the last she wanted to do.
Her mind pondered off; maybe he has an enemy he would like to be killed? She thought to herself..or maybe he is just rich, and she could easily steal from him. Hmmm. She traveled deeply into her thoughts.

territory right now. He didn't think she was going to try and take it, no-- this girl posed no more threat to him than an irritating little bug. And he wanted to get that bug away from him before he had the mind to squash it. "Quite frankly, hanyou, I don't give a damn what does and doesn't matter to you. What matters to me is that you're in my territory, uninvited and unwelcome. Whether you plan to stay or not, you will either turn back around over my border now, or plan to be escorted out by some of my warroirs-- but I feel I must warn you, there is nothing much North of here-- the Yourouzoku will be the last real inhabitants you find this far in the mountains, and not many are so kind as me."He folded his arms across his chest, glaring down at the woman, tail now lashing back and forth against his bare legs-- like most yourouzoku, Kage wore a skirt-loincloth-type thing made of fur. "Make your decision quick, I am of short patience right now."[/ul][/blockquote]

She couldn’t help but to laugh at him. And Payne hardly laughed, well she really laughed because he thought the more he growled she’d be intimidated; she wasn’t. She wasn’t at all intimidated by him. She had no reason to be.
"Well, Quiet Frankly, My name isn’t hanyou, it’s Payne. What matters to me is, that simple fact I don’t care what you try." She said her arms crossing then her tail twitched in annoyance.”Fine then though I will leave, I won’t need your assistance.” She said with a shrug before walking past him, making sure their shoulders bumped.
She wasn’t afraid of him, in fact she was making it sure that he would know that she wasn’t scared of him. She didn’t care for him, he wasn’t her alpha no one was. She walked away slowly, taking her time.
"Nice skirt by the way”

at him. Well, the hanyou had something else coming. The snarl that escaped his lips was nothing but pure, territorial, predator. As she brushed-- or rather, bumped-- past him, one quick, clawed hand shot out and grabbed her by the shoulder. "How dare you. You little hanyou wretch. I don't give a damn what your name is, but I am Kage son of Kiba, and this is my land. You will turn around and head back, right now, before your impudence and disrespect costs you your head. My pack shall allow you no passage through these lands, and should you try, we will hunt you down and kill you. Am I understood?" He alone was more than a match for the half demon-- she looked him directly in the eyes but once, and he could have her bowed at his feet. Whatever he wanted-- so were the powers of him and his twin. Meanwhile, back at the caves, Kizu was just setting out to look for Kage. Grumpy and slightly disgruntled after the lecture his elder twin had given him, the younger of the brothers was setting out to try and make an appology-- without having to utter the words 'I'm sorry' and admit defeat. It was the brotherly thing to do. [/ul][/blockquote]

As he shot out to her, as soon as his hands touched her skin, it was soft but a claw grabbed at his wrist twisting it as quick as he came to touch her shoulder. Her golden eyes were shining in anger. “People like you disgust me truly. To high and mighty to understand, I was just leaving. And I just complimented your skirt. I could careless for your petty threats.” She hissed her voice was icy cold. A snarl left her mouth and it stopped, and she let his wrist go.
That might have the effect for other wolves, but Payne was far different. She grew up how he did, and she hated it. She hated people like him, by far, she’d hold great pity for whoever would be his mate, so great that she highly doubted it would fill this lifetime, the pity. She turned her back to him, another act of impudence. “And if you haven’t noticed, I don’t obey like a lap dog, or whoever sucks up to you here.” She growled, before walking off, the furs on her tail and ears perched up in anger..she was ready to fight him if that need be.

. You are nothing but a half breed, poison to our bloodlines, child of traitors, and too wound up in your own self pity to see anything else. And what is it that I don't understand? What are you going to tell me-- that just because you're a hanyou doesn't mean anything? It does-- you may not be weak as a mortal, but you're far weaker than a demon. Being half yourouzoku won't help you here-- if anything, it puts a price on your head. Weak bloodlines don't survive, and there's no room for weakness up here. Mortal taint to your blood makes you weak-- you get me?" It was scary sometimes, how alike the siblings could be. Not even his twin, but his little sister Tsuzuki was famous for giving speeches in such a manor-- it had been many, many months earlier that she had said something similar to a couple-- or rather, it turned into a trio-- of dog hanyou somewhere in the Southeast of the country. Kizu, was hiding not far off, watching the scene with a little smirk on his face. As the hanyou turned to leave, he stepped out with as much graceful finess as his demonic nature could allow him, blocking her path. "Aw, now don't be insulting the traditional garb of our tribe. As my brother said, being half wolf demon doesn't make you anything close to one of us. And if you keep that up, you'll end up with a whole hord of angry men in 'skirts' as you put it, after you-- which you just might soon anyway, depending on how bored the rest of the tribe gets."Ki shot a look at his brother, who smirked back, coming forward to stand next to him. "Now, this far North, ass kissing-- or sucking up, as you put it, is a very important life skill. It gets you places around here. And I can tell you one place you're not getting-- through our territory. Turn around now."[/ul][/blockquote]

Her eyes narrowed, well she DID plan on leaving…but, after that speech of bullshit she turned around to face them, “For you to base your power off of your bloodlines, your just pathetic.” She growled. “the both of you.” She added. “You might take me down, but I can garruntee..I’ll take twenty of your pack members with me.” She growled, her tail twitched in annoyance.
To this world, she was unimportant. Because she was the misfit of the world, she fears nothing, she had nothing to loose, and she could careless about death. It wasn’t in her blood to run and hide like a coward, in fact she would face her challenges with a grin. She didn’t want to be one of them, to be blind with power, in the end they die just like humans, just like half demons, might not be as soon as them, but still they did. Die.
