He watches her as she continues to rotate the meat. He tried to focus on what she was doing, so he could try it sometime, but he had a hard time, she kept taking his interest. Which was nonsense, she wasn’t doing anything. He brought up his hand and lightly resting his head against it as he thought. Not only was he finding himself unable to stop looking at her at times, even when nothing was going on. His still mind where thoughts had stop passing though when he was a child seem to be screaming at him.
Many of the thoughts coming to him came and go so fast, he couldn’t even catch onto what they was. But others like what would happen if he went with her. His mind blanked for a bit before he pictures both them in the world, the landscape seem to be abit short and cut off, as his imagination wasn’t exactly there let alone something he not seen. But he seen himself happy and oddly protective.
His mind quickly begins thinking if the two separated and travel different paths. He begins thinking about it and oddly the picture that came to him was void and vague. He could only see himself sitting in darkness, No landscape, no nothing, Just him. At this point all around him was gone, he was stuck in his own mind. He continues to try and figure out what him in the darkness meant but the chill inside him that came with it was something that felt like a tight cramp in his chest.
His mind was beginning to leave and go onto other topics before she had move holding the meat before his face. Oddly he didn’t even notice it until she spoke to him. His face turned a solid red and he made a deep, dark yelp as he stumbled backwards falling off the log. He had snapped out of it, forgetting about what was around him, seeing the plate of meat in front of him and hearing her all at once startled him. His face was completely flushed as his face for at this moment had completely lost, and was full of different emotions.

Takai had fallen over and all Kira could do was just stare, wondering if he was okay. She seemed to have startled him somehow, but she could not really figure how she would have been able to do that just from offering him some meat. He seemed to have been watching her the whole time, or so she thought he was. If he was startled he apparently was not watching her as well as she thought, but even so she should not have been able to surprise him so completely as to fall over the log. It just did not make any sense in her mind at all and her eyes displayed this slight confusion as she stared at him, the meat still in the offering position. It was a curious thing since he seemed like such a strong fighter and all that it was surprising to her to be able to catch him in such a position as he was in right now.
There was also the flushing face of his, starting to lose whatever emotionless state it displayed on it. He seemed to lose all composure before her, which only left her to wonder just what he was thinking and feeling. Even if he had managed to get in this position she had not expected him to lose his composure so completely. It was interesting to watch, but at the same time very curious to wonder about. Kira had not known him for even a day yet, it had not reached a full twenty-four hours yet, but she felt that this behavior for him was probably highly unusual for him to be showing. He did not seem the type to be clumsy or get embarrassed by such trivial things, but somehow he was.
Kira's mind was still at a loss as she slowly lowered the meat, her eyes still staring at Takai. Slowly, her eyebrow raised to form an even more curious expression. "Is there something wrong..? What were you thinking of," she asked slowly. There was nothing but his mind around to distract him so much, but just to be sure she did begin to sniff the air a bit to smell for any other scents. For the most part she really only smelled her scent, his scent, and the scent of the food around them. Any other scent around were normal scents found in nature and nothing to really worry about. That still left the question of what was wrong with Takai and why did he seem to be acting so strangely at the moment.
"Did you still want the meat," she asked, trying to return the atmosphere around them to normal so that they can both be more comfortable. It just seemed a bit confusing now and perhaps a tad bit awkward. First thing Kira thought would be best to do was to get Takai a bit closer to his normal composure, then perhaps she would question him a bit more or at least get him to eat first. If nothing else she could simply wait for the answers to her questions to come whenever the time was right, or at least voice them again when the time was right. She was not sure if even Takai completely understood the answers to her questions himself, he seemed a bit embarrassed and perhaps confused himself. [/blockquote]

His eyes meet hers as he couldn’t say anything. He didn’t even know how he got so flustered or startled, but He couldn’t explain to her he was thinking about her. That be just weird. It was weird enough in his mind and he was the one that did it. His eyes move down seeing she had finish cooking the meat. He closes his eyes for a moment to try and contain himself.
The red within his face faded, but did not leave as he tries to clear his mind. He moves up and reaches for the meat, now sitting back up. His eyes was close as he bites into the meat and swallows it, not really tasting it as he was still weary.
“I slipped.” He said nothing else as he continue eating and it was obvious he was lying. His eyes open as he looks down at the meat as his mind was finally calm enough to taste it. “This is good, much better then anything I ever thought I could eat.” He slightly smirks, which once ended his emotionless face has finally returned.
His wings slightly fluttered in the taste of it, he didn’t really like the fish, but even it was better then his normal food, but that could have been the fact it was not cooked. He quickly devours it leaving nothing behind after that.

Kira watched him try to calm down, his eyes closing probably in an attempt to clear his mind and relax himself. The red in his face did appear to lessen a bit after that, and he managed to sit back up and accept the food from her hand. The other piece of meat she had she began to chew into slowly, still watching Takai a bit as if to try to figure out what was going on in his mind. He began to eat his food as well, though he did not comment on it right away, his mind might still be occupied or something, or at least that was the reasoning she came up with. Still, his small fall was still on her mind as it probably was on his as well. Of course he knew more about why he fell than she did, but that did not stop her from pondering over it and trying to figure it out.
After a moment of eating he finally seemed to respond to her question. Kira could tell he was lying, but decided not to push it right now. He had not previously lied to her since she met him, or at least not that she could tell anyway, and it did not seem like he would go out of his way to lie for something little so he probably had a good reason for doing so. It was most probable that it was just personal information that he would rather her not know, of course, what else could it be otherwise? She nodded when he finally said something about the meat, making the thoughts Kira had previously been thinking fall more to the back of her mind to think about later. His preference for food was probably for something more cooked, but she would have to test that further with some cooked fish at some point.
"There's plenty of this kind of food out in the world so you won't have to worry about never eating it now," she said, looking at her food for a moment before taking another bite. It was better than she usually ate, which was usually something quick and easy, so she could only wonder just how much better it was than the stuff that he had usually ate as a captive. At best they would probably give the prisoners gruel or something of that nature. Perhaps something with a little more substance as well so they could fight over it easier. Then again they probably liked to see them suffer and spill food everywhere every once in a while. They would not do that all the time since they did need to keep their fighters in somewhat good shape though.
Kira finished off her meat and then went to the fire to grab another. This one was a little more cooked than the last, the last being a bit rare. She also grabbed another one for Takai before returning to her seat. "This one's a bit more cooked than the last," she said as she held out his next piece, "the last few will probably be well done. After we eat those you can decide just how cooked you like your meat." She usually preferred her meat somewhere between rare and well done, but she did not mind eating rare and well done either nor did she mind eating it raw. That was just how she lived though and perhaps she was just use to it and so had never really minded any of it as long as she ate it and it was not rotten or anything like that. [/blockquote]

Takai lightly growls to himself as he settles onto the log. He looks back up to her for a moment. Seeing the confusion in her eyes, but what could he say. He looks down and distracts himself with random thoughts. Where they may go or what they will do next.
He begins listening to her but did not look up to her, he begins thinking of other places and the foods they would have. He almost laughed how he was thinking of traveling only for the food at that moment. His attention rose back to her as he listen to her speaking again and offers him another slice that he takes from her. He ate this one much more quickly then the last. It had much better flavor to it. “This is better…”
