"You didn't have to pull away so quickly, you know?"

Shikyo covered her face and blushed as mamoru's large ears perked up in curiosity. Mamoru grin a wolfish smile and started to slip out shaking the water from his body.

Shikyo blushed even hotter the springs grabbing his tail, "where are you going mamoru?!" Mamoru smiled back sheepishly, "food," He leans closer to her ears and whispered, "and maybe give you some alone time..."

Mamoru pulled away as shikyo stared at him shock with wide eyes as her face was beet red, "ma-mamoru..."Mamoru laughed as he sprite away, "take care of the girl while I'm gone fox!!"

"damn you mamoru!" she slam her fists in the water yelping as it got into her eyes, she whimpers as she rub them. "stupid mamoru...I'm sorry for bumping into you..." Her eyes felt more irritated as she growled softly rubbing them some more.

He watched the both with a rather amused expression. It had been quite awhile since he had last had such fun. He watched the wolf closer, however, watching as he left the water. He spoke to him then, making Nazo's ears perk up.

"take care of the girl while I'm gone fox!!"

He laughed, shaking his head out of pure amusement. He gave a fang tipped smile then, replying to him. His words were spoken with a sharp wit, a bit playful. "That I will, wolf, that I most certainly will." He chuckled then, looking to Shikyo, who also apparently had something to say to him.

"stupid mamoru...I'm sorry for bumping into you..."

He shook his head once more, this time in the negative. "No, no need to apologize. It was, after all, an accident, no?" He never lost his smile, however, showng that he was teasing her, if only a small bit.

"That I will, wolf, that I most certainly will."

She turned to look at him again her created small ripples as she tilted her head. "and what is that suppose to mean?"
She turns around completely settling in the warm water. She smiled at his laughter and felt pink in the cheeks from his smile.

"Mamoru is such a silly wolf, first he wants to protect me and now he wants to leave me alone..."

She watched the moment of his head and sunk down into the spring till it touched her lips again then sunk down even more almost to hide her face from his question.

"No, no need to apologize. It was, after all, an accident, no?"

She nodded her head as she looked at him the best she could as she blew bubbles, but she could telling he was teasing, but to her teasing can lead to many things.

"and what is that suppose to mean?"

Nazo gave yet another fang tipped smile as an answer to her question. He was enjoying himself, most immensely, actually. He really hadn't intended to cause so much mischief, though perhaps it was merely the Kitsune side of him dictating things for once. Whatever it was, he found that he liked it. He smiled a bit more at her reaction, moving closer until they were inches apart.

"Embarrassed, are we?"

She tilted her head abit as her chest heave slightly at his smile. she could feel the heat rush to her face and flush her cheeks turning the from pink to bright red with her slightly pale skin she prayed he couldn't see it.

The blood pump to the tips of her ears as she tired her best to glance away. "oh god, oh god, oh god..." was all she could think of finally noticing that he was only inches part.

"Embarrassed, are we?"

"E-embarrassed? F-f what..." she press herself against the wall of the spring keeping her face hidden as she swallowed hard panting slightly.

Normally, Nazo would have shied away from such a situation, though as mentioned before it was not his more human reasoning guiding him at the moment. He wished to push the situation further, as much as possible. He kept his same playful smile, watching the color rush to her face. His expression changed then, to a more predatory expression, though not threatening in the least. He right ear twitched, as if he were listening intently as she spoke to him once more.

"E-embarrassed? F-f what..."

His more playful expression returned then, he was obviously enjoying this immensely. His eyes drifted away from her for a moment, as if he didn't know what to say. They then returned to her, however, as he answered her.

"Because of you and I's closeness, of course. Though, I know not why you would be, considering your beauty."

Shikyo watched as the same playful smile still shown on his face. The heat from the pool and the blood rushing to her face caused her to sweat and wiggles away. She stumbled slightly as a small smile crept on her face as she tried to think of a way to get out of the situation. The only thoughts that ran trough her head, where is mamoru? and what is going on? She whimpered to her to herself as his expression changed slightly and tilted her head.

He's eyes left her making her think it was her chance as she lean back slightly ready to place her hands on the edge of the spring and jump out when he snapped back to wards her. She yelped at his sudden movement and watched him carefully.

She blushed. Never had she heard such again, she watched him and tense slightly wonder would she be pushing it. She felt dizzy now, the warm spring and her hot face face made her felt as if her brain was about to fry as she rocked slightly.

His smile faltered when he saw her reaction to him. He eased back then, still not knowing what had overcame him before. She must think him no better than a mere bandit now. He shook his head, looking away from her once more. He felt he had to come up with something to prove otherwise now. He tilted his head to the side for a moment, thinking. His thoughts were interupted, however, by her voice.

"my head hurts..."

He looked at her strangely for a moment, not knowing what she meant at first or how to respond. Then an idea struck him. It was something he had never tried before, though now when it occured to him it seemed the most obvious thing. He guessed that it was most likely the heat causing her discomfort, so he moved away a few more paces, raising one hand out of the water.

He was trying to avoid using the full strength of his power, otherwise it would have no focus as he had no scroll and might end up killing them both. So, he focused on that one hand, his index finger to be more precise, concentrating his energy on that single point. The tip of his finger lit up with a dark blue hued aura. He then just barely touched the surface. Steam began to rise in response to the touching of opposites. He then did the same with his entire hand, dipping it below the surface.

The steam slowly cleared up, the water now becoming a bit chilled. He smiled then, content with the results. "It seems my magic has another use besides harming others." That was when he lost his focus, a pulse of cold spreading out from the hand he had used, the water grew cold now, colder than he had intended. He stopped the spell immedietly, a bit alarmned. It was cold indeed, though he didn't shiver. This was a temperature he had always liked.

Shikyo sighed and breathed when she notice him ease back making it abit easier for to catch her breath. She turn and lean again the hot spring as she breath a sigh of relief and looked back at him. Her eye brows raised as she saw the look in his eyes."What is he staring at?" was all she could think of as she watch his hand rise from the water.

oh god he's going to blow me away! This thought course and pulsed through her mind wildly as she watch he finger glow blue.

"oh pretty color..."

The child side of herself wanted to reach out and touch his finger and lick it, but she snapped out of it. I hate when that happens she pouted to herself mentally as she continues to watch as he touched the surface. Shikyo was in awe, never had she seen such a thing, The steam rosed making her wonder if he was going to boil the water more.

Then it disappear and a cold chill rocked her body, it felt make be too good; she covered her breast. She looked to him smiling.

"It seems my magic has another use besides harming others."

"oh really? have you harm people befor-" Before she could finish she felt a jolt shock her, the spring was cold felt much like it did in the mountains, her knees buckled as she sink in and jump back gasping for air as her lung strain to adjust to the sudden change.

Shikyo slowly tried to pull herself out, but the sudden freeze sucked the energy right out of her small, fragile body. "N-nazo w-what d-did y-y-you do?"

He set to mending his mistake as fast as possible. Now he had to reverse the effect, heating the water a bit and giving the water back it's pleasant chill from only a few moments before. He began to concentrate as he had before, this time using his entire hand. He closed his eyes, redirecting the energy within him to that one point.

His hand lit up with a red, almost crimson light. He then dipped it within the water, steam rising as he did so, temporarily obscuring his vision. The effect was almost instantaneous, the freezing temperature began to rise once more. Although, he pulled his hand away once the water had reached the chilly temperature that he had desired in the first place. He then looked over at her with a smile.

"Is that better?"

She saw a crimson light, making her shiver and flinched thinking it was going to go out of control again. She sighed as she felt the warm water return to pleasant temperature. She let her arms drop into the warm water of the spring as she smiled at him she walked over to him blushing as she hugged him making sure not to touch anything that would cause an awkward moment.
“Yes thank you, for both trying to freeze and heat the water again.” She couldn’t tell if she was joking our not, but she was happy. She moved back blushing as she brushed her hair some her face. For once she was able to look at him fully and not in her shy ways. She notice now that he was tall which made her blushed and at how deeply colored his Emerald eyes were. She felt her heart throb as she looked fondly at him. She was noticing a lot of things now about him.
“S-so what she we do now?” She wasn't embarrassed around him anymore as she sat on the edge of the spring glancing at him a bit before looking at the waters.
