History
Detailed Personal History: Minkotsu has a long history, 11 generations worth. He has exsited for more than thousand years. He has also changed his appearance many times. Minkotsu was given the ability of re-incarnation at a mid point of his first life. While his birth and stages of his development from child to adult are unclear due to his amnesia, the earliest thing he can remember from his first life is always serving under a buddist monk. His name was Haoken. Haoken was a powerful spiritual monk who had the unique ability to hear the thoughts of others. He used his high spiritual powers to perform exorcisms. Haoken never told Minkotsu how he found him but only that " it was to be so.." Haoken passed on his abilities to Minkotsu as they journeyed further. Minkotsu eventually mastered the ability to listen to peoples thoughts. FInally he realized what Haoken had realized all along: All humans are defilled and should be annihilated. As they traveled Minkotsu became more and more sadistic while Haoken went totally insane. Haoken met his end by the hands off a traveling shaman. He killed Haoken and Minkotsu.
However this was not his true end. Before Minkotsu had died his master, Haoken, passed down to him knowledge of an ancient ritual, Taizan Fukun. the ritual involved getting past the seventy five Lords of Hell and succeeding in making a contract with Taizan Fukun, an old name for thegod of the underworld. This gives one the ability to resurrect the dead or reincarnate themselves at will. Haoken gave the ability of reincarnation to Minkotsu, which allowed him to control his soul. Still inept at using the ability, he reluctanly was reborn as a demon. This type of demon was a parasite. One that preyed on the minds of others. Initialy he lived the life demon, going through short term memory loss. Naturally in his new form his powers over mind manipulation grew and coincidentaly he awakened the memories of his past life. Regaining mental and physical control he expanded over the abilities of the mind demon and became much stronger. He lived the rest of life span out and went through the process ofreincarnation again. Still he had little choice of who to be reincarnated to next and became a demon again. This demon was one that manipulated souls. Now to his discomfort he was now female. He also found out his life span was less than half of a humans. Integrating the abilties of soul control into his mind he could now fully control his soul during the reincarnation phase.
There were some consequences of this however. Normally he would adapt the abilties of his previous life into the next there fore becoming stronger. But he made an error while reincarnating. He became a demon yet again a dark demon. From that point on he could only carry the traits of a mind and dark type demon. If he became a powerful spirtually endowsed human, it would leave him as soon as he died. Upsett with himself he beared it until he could reincarnate into another soul controlling being or somehow learn to fix his mistake in another life. This became his main goal during the remainder of his lifes. Still the ability to sense the thoughts of humans did not leave him. His mind became like his masters, insane. Now that he was a demon he could sever all ties with that feeble race and proceed to annihilate them. His soul has grown in power and his ambitions have become bigger. He seeks to create a world where those who are rejected and are pure can find relief and acceptance. However his motives are clouded and twisted into universal domination.
Minkotsu's Incarnations
1: *name unknown* - Minkotsu's first life is shoruded in mystery, but it is where he gained most of his power. He does not remember his name.(human)
2: Momuhin - Second life, Minkotsu inherits the ability to maniulate minds.(mind demon)
3:Uruha- Third life, Minkotsu's first female reincarnate, he learns the art of soul control. His shortest life so far. (soul demon)
4:Yami- Fourth life, Minkotsu suffers a great power loss in this incarnation. (dark demon)
5:Hiyayo- Fiffth life, Minkotsu struggles to learn how to fix his mistake made in his previous life but dies in a epic fight with another shaman, adescendant from the shaman who first killed him. (fire demon)
6:Yahase- Sixth life, Minkotsu's first hanyou incarnation and second female incarnation. He raises a cult to search for soul manipulation techinuqes. The clan is executed but he escapes and dies later.(ice hanyou)
7:Rurayu- Seventh life, Minkotsu's worse incarnation in his opinion. He was born with low spiritual and demonomic energy and was very sickly.(bat demon)
8:Tasaka- Eigth life, Minkotsu becomes a human again by accident and becomes a monk. He receives spiritual training and gains the ability to control souls again. However the technique must be refined and his life expires before he can do so.(human)
9: Renoto- Ninth life, Minkotsu becomes a hanyou again and becomes aware of the shikon jewel but dismisses it as an unstable catalyst of human suffering but a useful tool if he ever fot possession of it. Still he decides not to persue it.(wolf hanyou)
10: Minkotsu- Tenth life, Minkotsu decides to forever assign this name as his permanent own. He also becomes a mind demon again.(mind demon)
11: Rikun- name given at birth(Minkotsu)- Eleventh life and current life. Minkotsu seeks to forge a weapon capaple of growing stronger on it's own and to be his permanent weapon through his incarnations.(dark demon)

Minkotsu is at a base a sadistic and growing psychopath. He has a growing enjoyingment in watching other people feel pain. In contrast he hates it when someone accomplishes something or feels pride in something they did. Just about embodying complete darkness he enjoys killing and loves in putting people down. He believes even the greatest warrior can be defeated with a broken will and destroyed morale. He always mocks his opponent in battle. Minkotsu himself has developed his mind and senses slightly more than his own power. It means nothing to him for someone to call him scum or the worst or even curse his name. He accepts such comments as it reveals his opponents hatred and disgust for him which he will readily abuse. He likes torture, especially mind torture. Nothing pleases him more than making his opponent suffer mentally and demoralize them. ( yay! evil)
