Kaname's mouth opened, and then closed without any sound escaping. It was like her vocal cords had completely abandoned her when she needed them most. Finally, she managed to clear her throat, and let out a nervous laugh.
"I don't know about that, Rin-chan. Lord Sesshomaru and I... don't have that kind of relationship." Although I wish we did... she thought sadly. Shaking her head quickly, she banished that particular thought train as she let out another nervous laugh. "We should probably go after him and Jaken though. It looks like they're leaving us."

What on earth could she say to that? It wouldn't be so bad if Sesshomaru wouldn't be able to hear her answer, but with his good hearing, and how close he was, there was no chance that he wouldn't hear. But she couldn't just disappoint the girl. Breathing an internal sigh, she smiled down at Rin.

Rin giggled, I wont tell! She said, putting her fingers to her lips and making a 'My lips are sealed' motion.
She smiled and walked along side of Kaname, starting to skip.
Hmhmhmmmhmhm She hummed.

"why of all people would you want to travel with Sesshomaru, I'd rather fight Naraku." She said under her breth, not sure if he heard her or not. He didn't even look her way not that she cared. But still he was her older brother and it wouldn't kill him to be a little bit nicer to her and inuyasha.

Kaname turned back to shoot a glare at InuShaki. She knew that half-demon hated her older brother, but she didn't have to be so mean. Closing her eyes, she turned around, taking a deep breath to calm her emotions, before turning back to face the demon.
She wasn't even supposed to be able to hear what she had said, but she had. After spending so much time with Inuyasha, the king of muttering under his breath, that is. "Lord Sesshomaru is kind, no matter what you think. Believe it or not, I don't care. It's your choice how immature your behavior is by hating him."
With that she once again turned to give Rin a faint smile. "Come on, Rin-chan. Let's keep walking." |

InuShaki laughed, Sesshomaru...kind that was about the funniest thing she ever heard. "Sesshomaru kind, what world are you living in? There is no way that he can be kind." She said, still laughing at how that sounded to her. But then she remembered what Kaname had said to Rin, Kaname seems to have feelings for him. "So when are you gonna tell Sesshomaru you love him?" She asked smirking.

That was the final straw for Kaname. She whirled, her eyes flashing with anger. "You don't know anything, InuShaki. Don't sound so all-knowing. You have no idea what you're talking about!"
The mention of her feelings for Sesshomaru only increased her anger by at least two fold. It was strange, to see her so angry, since she was normally such a level-headed person. "Also, please mind your own business! If you want to butt your way into other people's lives so much, why don't you do go and bother someone else?"

Rin watched, and blinked she didn't belive it, Kaname was mad, this was strange to her, she knew that Kaname liked Lord Sesshoumaru but she didn't know why she was getting so upset, she keep on walking though ignoring the inuwoman.

The anger faded, and in a few seconds Kaname stood silently, shocked at her outburst. Turning on her heels so as to hide her shame for such a show of anger, she muttered over her shoulder, "Sorry. I don't know what came over me."
With that she ran to catch up with Rin and the others, tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe she had lost control like that. It so wasn't like her. And worse, she had actually yelled at one point. She could blame her outburst on the lump that was still making her head throb, but that wouldn't be completely true. She doubted a bump on her head would really make her act that way.
"I'm sorry for that, Rin-chan. I just don't like it when people say things about those I consider my friends when they have no idea what they're talking about." |

Rin smiled, just nodding she knew that the inu woman was over the line and she deserved that, She contiuned skipping she finally reached Master Jaken so she could climb up onto the two headed dragon.
Hmhmhmhmmmmhmhm She hummed.

Sesshomaru stopped a little, a little taken back by InuShaki’s comment and Kaname’s outburst. He really didn’t’ expect for Kaname to say something like that. InuShaki just assumed that he didn’t care, but he did kind of care. Inuyasha and InuShaki were family after all, he had to respect that at least. Though the reason he disliked humans was mostly his mother’s influence and a little in counter that he rather not remember. So she had no right to say something like that, he could be nice but that kind of emotion got himself killed before when he was a little kid. Looking over he saw Rin humming as she rode on Ah and Uh, a little sad and concern washed over his face before he covered it with his emotionless face that he perfected over the years.

The Shikigami wielder watched Sesshomaru from behind, her hands clasped behind her, fingers intertwined. She wondered what he was thinking about. He was always so stoic and expressionless... She sort of wished that he would open up to her, although she doubted that that would happen any time soon. Sesshomaru would probably never think of her as anything more than 'that Shikigami girl'. That made her sad, although she knew it was just a fact of how life was. Sesshomaru didn't trust almost all humans. From what she had seen, Rin was actually the only one he did fully trust.
Although... he had agreed to let her come along, so maybe that was a sign that he trusted her, at least to some extent. She hoped that was what it meant anyway. Biting her lower lip, she decided to take a chance. Running forward, she came up next to the lord before falling into step with him. "Um... Sesshomaru... I wanted to say thank you, for all the times you saved me before... I left before I could get the chance to last time..."

Rin, who had been humming stoped and smiled at her Lord, she giggled at Kaname she had an idea of what she was doing but this was only her imagination.
'If Kaname-chan becomes my mother I wouldn't know what to do! she thought and smiled at that thought she started talking to Ah-Uh.
"So whats chu been up to Ah-Uh?" the dragon on the left turned its head and gave her a look like , 'What do you think?' and she giggled, "Oh come on I'm a little bored!" she smiled and patted the dragons head.
