Hiro was wandering alone in the forest looking for lodgings. He often grabbed the hilt of his sword, with a red ribbon tied to it for it was his mother's, who was killed when Amoi's demons raided his village and killed everyone who was dearest to him. It was nighttime and he took out his sword and slashed at a tree cutting it in half with ease, he then found himself slicing the tree to bits as to obtain firewood. "Phew", he said. "Well I guess ill just sleep here." It had been days since the event of which he met Miyako the priestess, Nyx the demon cat and Evane, the unicorn. He was curious, yet somewhat frightened of what may lie ahead...

InuShaki was sitting in the tree Hiro cut down, she jumped into another tree and watched him. She jumped down and landed in front of him. "I was sitting in that tree you cut down!" She said her fangs showing and her dog ears twitching

Hiro looked up at her. "Aye!" he yelled in fright. He doesn't like to be scared like that. "Y-y-you startled me...". He put his hand around the handle of his sword, unknowing if she was going to harm him.

InuShaki laughed, "Love the way you reach for your sword. I am not gonna hurt you" She told him, "Thats my stupid brother Sesshomaru that does that'' she added under her breath. "I scare alot of people, even more when I'm in full demon form" she informed him

"Well, thats good to know", he said relieved. "Do you happen to know of any villages nearby?". He was extremely tired and hungry. He really wanted to get out of having to camp in the demon-infested forest.

"Well Kaede's Village is about 5 miles away. I could get there in about 4 mintues." She told him, she could tell he was not too thrilled about camping in a demon forest. InuShaki really didn't care she kills about 4 demons daily

"Five miles you say..." I think I could manage that. He grabbed the firelogs and made a bag out of some leaves he had tied together. "Which direction is the "Kaede's" village you speak of?", he asked, wanting more by the second to get out of the forest.

"That way" She says pointing to the East. "But you better be ready to fight Demons, and not the little weak one the strong ones I fight 4 or 5 a day. If you don't know what your doing or dont know the forest you better take some one with you that does." She told him. Going to the east of this forest was filled with very strong demons that often teamed up together to fight people passing by.

Kiyumi walked through her village, making her usual rounds to check on her neighbors. She checked on Kaede to see if she needed anything. She dropped off food and clothing so she could take care of herself easily and then returned to her post in the maraket.  |

Hiro thanked Inushaki and took off for the village. Luckily he avoided all the demons and made his way into Kaede's village. He made it to the village, hoping that someone would let him pay to sleep in their home.

Kiy helped cutstomers and was getting ready to close shop when she noticed a new comer. She decided to keep shop open a little longer incase he needed anything.

Nyx patrolled the village as usual he was in his smaller cat form watching the village children who giggled and picked him up getting a bit annoyed he finally jumped away and onto the nearby roof.His gaze than fell to Hiro smirking a bit he spoke up."We meet again,Comrade." He smirked as he jumped down landing with a small thud he meowed.

Hiro looked at kiy, "Hello.", he said. He noticed Nyx on the ground. "Hey there, Nyx." "I wasn't expecting to end up here again." "I've got something for you", he said as he grabbed a piece of cured fish out of the bag tied to his back. "I caught it a couple of hours ago, so itll be fresh." He gave Nyx the fish and then looked up at Kiyumi. "Do you happen to know if anyone would be willing to let me sleep in their house for a small pay?"

Kiy thought for a mintue. "No. Not really. Although if the pay is okay i would be willing to put you up for a while." No one in this village really had open space. I did. My parents had abandoned me when i was three so i had plenty room. It had been a home for three but only one was living in it.

He pulled out a fairly large bag of gold coins. "I used my invisibility skill to take these from some bandits who were collecting tolls on a bridge, theyre probably still hanging upside down....and I have this...", he pulled out a sharpened dagger made of gold. "One of those bandits wielded this dagger, I wonder who would fight with this...", he hoped that would be enough to get him a place to stay somewhere else than the demon-infest woods that were nearby.
