Kiyumi layed on the groud, her head pounding. A demon stood a few yards away, readying himself to attack her again. She layed bleeding on her forhead. Kiy was completly defensless, the demon had stolen her arrows. She closed her eyes and waited for the demon to kill her.  |

Hiro was walking along as he saw someone being attacked by a demon. "Well, here we go again", He used his invisibility spell and stayed invisible for seven seconds as he slashed the demon's head off .

When their was no attack kiy opened her eyes. The demon's head had been cut off. She blinked. A man was standing their, next to the demon but her vision was to blury to make out his arua to tell if he was human, demon, good bad or nuetral.

He walked over to her and was concerned. "Are you okay?", he asked her. "I have the ingrediants for a medicinal brew..." "Let me make you some." He made his brew and added spices to make it taste better. He poured some up for her in a pot he carved out of some wood.

Kiy sat up, herhead throbbed. "Th-thank you very much." She said. Kiy smiled slightly at the stranger's consern for her.

"You're quite welcome, what brings you to these parts", he asked while getting her another cup of the medicinal brew.

"Hmm, I dont think the nearest village is too far, If I may ask, where exactly did you come from? He offered here more of the medicinal brew.

She took the brew. "Thank you. I came from the eastern woods." Kiy said, tyring not to give away that she had no where to live. That was kiy's little secret.

He took out some cured meat, and took out his wooden pot and made a fire. He also had some vegetables he had collected from a field that he worked on in exchange for them. He boiled some water in this pot to make a stew. While the stew was cooking he added, "My village...it was destroyed weeks ago by demons. He looked at his sword and pulled it out of its sheath as it made a sharp noise. "It was a one of a kind sword made by a demon that my grandfather had slain...he was also killed in the raid and left this to me..." He pointed at the ribbon tied to the hilt. "That was my mother's...it is all i have left of her...", he looked down and then checked the stew.

Kiy looked down. If he could share his story then she could share her story.... Right? Kiyumi thought it over. Of course. It was the only fair thing. "My family... Im not sure exactly what happened to them.... But they where also killed by demons. The demon looked very odd." Kiy could still remember th demon's laughing face. She shiered. She had no idea how to discribe how the demon looked. "I was five." Kiy wondered how old he had been wen his family had been.... When it had happened.

The stew was ready and it was hot. He gave a bowl to Kiyumi and then made one for himself, "Be careful, its very hot." "Take this", he handed a sutra to her. "I can't use it...but it's a very powerful sutra, but it can only be used once. It's said to work as a holy bomb against demons. It belonged to a great monk in my village." He explained, he didnt tell her why exactly he couldn't use it, because he didnt know what she would think if he explained right then.

Kiy looked at the thing and took it in her hand, turing it over a few times to examn it. It was very nice of him to give her this. "Thank you." She said. A slighty smile, a very rare sight for kiy, pulled at her lips. She let it turn into a crooked smile.
